Clichy: Gunners Will Recover From Birmingham Setback Gael Clichy believes that Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Birmingham City at the weekend was but a minor

Arsenal defender Clichy has told The Sun that his side will recover from their draw with Birmingham.

Emmanuel Adebayor's early spot-kick was cancelled out by Garry O'Connor's second-half leveler, leaving Arsenal now level on points with high-flying Manchester United at the top of the table.

However, for the young Frenchman, a comeback is on the cards.

"Maybe we lost our focus but the mentality has not changed," he insisted.

"We are still there for the title and will show that in our next game against Fulham.

"But Manchester United going top will not affect us. They also led by a point after Christmas and we came straight back.

"So we know we have the quality to be first again in the next few weeks."

Clichy, who has both the age and shirt number of 22, arrived at Arsenal from Cannes in 2003.
