Speaking to the media before the game, the manager remarked, "We have prepared for this match by looking into every detail.
"Milan's squad comprises tremendous players who can change the game at any time. We need to keep our balance and prevent them from having space.
"They're a different team compared to the one of two months ago - that Club World Cup win helped them. And last Sunday [5-2 win over Napoli], Ancelotti's boys showed what they're really capable of."
However, there is some succour for Marino: Andrea Pirlo will miss out for the visitors.
"Pirlo's a key player for Milan in that he dictates the rhythm of their play, but they have a star-studded squad with alternatives in it," he mused.
"No one player will settle this match - instead, overall tactics will do so.
"We'll do all we can to remain among the top four. We haven't changed our objectives and will take it one game at a time. A club like Udinese can't lose its concentration or go down the wrong path even for a moment."
