With Cristiano Lucarelli on the way out of Shakhtar Donetsk, it appears that the Ukrainians have settled on Nicola Amoruso as a replacement.
Reggina Calcio president Pasquale Foti has apparently reached an agreement with the Ukrainian cracks to sell the striker for 4.5 million euros.
This means that there is now a striker's berth open in Calabria, with Christian Rigano topping the list. The want-away Levante man will be available for next to nothing, but there is said to be strong competition for his signature from Siena and Torino.
In other positions Anthony Vanden Borre of Fiorentina and Pasquale Foggia, on loan to Cagliari from Lazio, are on the shopping list. The latter is no stranger to the Amaranto, having enjoyed a loan period there already.
