While his reappearance in a Marseille shirt may have been anticlimactic - a tough 3-1 defeat for his side - Samir Nasri is delighted to be back after injury.
The highly-rated playmaker told OM.net, "I hope to have a great six months, offering something to the tam, and scoring goals in order to get us back into Champions League contention."
The youngster, who is said to be on the verge of a big-money summer transfer, continued, "In 2008, I don't to be hurt, but the injury has made me stronger. But I know that I need to do it on the pitch
"The most important thing is my health, and now that I've found that I feel good, the season starts now."
Indeed, it may have started with defeat, but Nasri remains confident that Marseille can claw back up from the 12th place that they currently occupy.
